IDC STAFF INSTRUCTOR

The IDC Staff Instructor course elevates PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainers to the role of mentor for the next generation of PADI Instructors.

​

By their actions and professionalism, PADI IDC Staff Instructors assist IDC candidates in developing proper positive attitudes and influence how they conduct themselves as PADI Professionals.  Fulfilling the role of a mentor, they counsel candidates about their skills, tutor candidates about PADI standards, and coach them into developing more effective teaching presentations.

When you become a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, you increase your instructional responsibilities and enhance your career opportunities as you become a key member of an Instructor development team.

Independently, a renewed IDC Staff Instructor can certify PADI Assistant Instructors, and conduct IDC training segments under the supervision of a PADI Course Director.

Pre-requisites for the IDC Staff Instructor course:

​

  • Current, in-teaching status PADI MSDT

  • A full set of your own personal Scuba Diving equipment is required to participate in an IDC Staff Instructor course.
